Beltane at Thornborough Henge 2010
Beltane at Thornborough Henge 2010 will take place on
Sunday May 2nd (camping arrangements for Saturday and Sunday nights have yet to be confirmed).
The Sacred Brigantia Players present a Mystery Play:
The May Eve Haul - The Birth of Taliesin
To be performed at Beltane at Thornborough Henge.
Children coming to the event are invited to bring
water pistols
so that they can participate in the play!
Directions to Thornborough Henge
Directions From the A1
Head west on the B6267 and avoid driving through Thornborough village by taking the 5th left turn, then left and left again, to the central Henge.
Directions From Ripon
Head north on the A6108 into West Tanfield. Turn right at the mini-roundabout and then take the 2nd left to the central Henge.
Directions from Masham
Head east on the A6108 into West Tanfield. Go straight across at the mini-roundabout and then take the 2nd left to the central Henge.
Parking at the Henge
Parking will be provided in a field adjacent to the central henge (please do not park along the side of the road).
Public Transport
Unfortunately there are no public transport services to the Henge. The nearest train stations are at Harrogate and Thirsk, and the nearset coach station is at Ripon.
