The Merry Month of May is Upon Us...

A time to celebrate life and love and all things good.
So come on down to Thornborough Henge and help us to bring in the summer in the festive tradition of Beltane!

The Sacred Brigantia Players present a Mystery Play:

The Fall & Rise of John Barleycorn

(with apologies to Robert Burns, for this twist in the tale!)

We invite children coming to the event to bring water pistols
so that they can participate in the Mystery Play!

Camping for the Beltane Weekend

Camping will be available for the whole of the Mayday Bank Holiday weekend at Lenthor Farm, Stoksley Road, Brompton, Northallerton DL6 2UD (18 miles from Thornborough Henge).

£10 per person for the whole weekend
£5 per person per night.
Children 16 or under are FREE

You can arrive at the campsite as early Friday and leave as late as Tuesday. Well behaved dogs are also welcome.

For those who want to party there will be dance music on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. There will also be some live Folk music on the Sunday night.

View line-up for the weekend's music

Camping will be out of earshot of the dance music area and there will be a large fire pit where people are welcome make their own accoustic music.

The campsite has Eco-loo toilet facilities. The will be a food catering van, but please also bring your own supplies.

Stone Circle Raising
Anyone attending the campiste is inviting to take part in the raising of a stone in Sentry Circle, the modern Stone Circle being built at Lenthor Farm. The stone raising is scheduled to take place on Saturday afternoon.

Directions to the Campsite
Take the A684 from the A1 to Northallerton, continue on this road through Northallerton and just after passing by Brompton look for a farm entrance on your right.
